It is now legal to be served papers on Facebook, yes, Facebook… If someone can prove you’ve been actively checking your account then it’s a viable method of serving you legal documents now :/
Even the famous people aren’t safe, flo rida was served papers via fb concerning a legal matter back in 2011, and the courts look at it like this: e-mail wasn’t considered an effective method of delivery but now they’re also thinking of sending jury summons and more to your email and if u don’t comply they will issue a warrant and arrest you, just as in any other summons or subpoena.
